Spent three days in the Aerodynamics department, involving completing training for the ‘3D Experience’ CAD programme, and then designing key components for an F1 car using CAD, including front and rear wings, floor fins, floor fences, roll-hoop camera, front and rear suspension and mirrors. Developed teamwork skills by undertaking all tasks as part of a team of two. Presented design to Alpine employees including explaining reasons for each design decision. Spent two days in the model shop, involving assembling, sanding and painting a model of an F1 car.
