Designed in 3d Modeling using Autodesk Inventor. Designed and supported gages for the automotive industry in metal stamping, plastics, and various safety components/assemblies. Imported files of many sorts into our system and saved/converted files into our file management system. Held online web review meetings to 3d review all design concepts. Assisted customers in basic part layouts to print GD&T to ensure best inspection outcomes. Had constant correspondance with other customers engineers to supply updated detail drawings and models.

CNC Programmer

Set up, program and run Fadal CNC mills of all sizes. Used Surfcam and manual G and M code function programming to build components for ortho and automotive gages. Fluent in 2 axis Surfcam and basic 3 axis Surfcam programming. Fit details up to other components for assemblies and size out held tolerances as small as .0002. Use metrology tools to setup and inspect built details per blueprint callouts.

CNC Machinist

Operated CNC Mill, Lathe, and swiss turning equipment. Deburred and inspected parts and maintained to print tolerances. Made offsets and did set ups in various CNC equipment. Ran production syle setups on knee mills and engine lathes. Learned all of my fundemental shop skills at Acme. From using edge finders, indicators, and simple metrology tools to understanding indexable tool life and machine speeds and feeds for maximization of tool life.
