I currently work with, and directly report to, Nick Maiurro – and have for just over three years. He is a competent, qualified supervisor who demonstrates several qualities that make a great leader: integrity, empathy, patience, open-mindedness, humility – and with a clear vision and purpose. Despite being in a leadership role, he has continually and consistently exercised a team-player attitude through action: he will jump in, or offer help, wherever needed – specifically, with regards to fund development and program events. In addition to his work with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado, Nick clearly loves the community of Colorado Springs and the people who make up the city. He appreciates the local culture and it's continued growth, and supports it in various ways. Nick has a great reputation because of his authenticity behind it, backing it up.
