I was promoted multiple times to positions of increased responsibility, culminating in Senior Manager, Systems Administration, where I led internal, multi-location technical teams comprising internal resources and external contractors/consultants. Our team maintained, configured, and optimized the AD/messaging environment for ~ 20,000 users in the Americas and Canada, ensuring the stability, reliability, and security of storage, backup, and Unix/Linux systems. I worked across the globe to orchestrate global messaging services deployment with team leads in Israel, Croatia, Poland, and Germany. During my tenure, I developed specialized expertise managing infrastructure and messaging integration for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures and was the point person for 9 different integrations over an 8-year period, including Teva's acquisition of Barr as well as FEI Women's Health, Pliva, Cephalon, Duramed, MicroDose, and Labrys. Despite the constant change, I sustained and cultivated morale on my team, ensuring staff remained fully engaged to provide stability and support to the organization.
