  My involvement in the Castelo de Cuncos Archaeological Project allowed me to develop and practice essential fieldwork strategies.   I completed 30 hours at the South County Museum, where I learned the basics of digital archiving and oral history practice. I learned to digitize cassettes and attended weekly training sessions. I listened to, read, and analyzed 25+ tapes interviewing Rhode Island fishermen, as well as transcribed a new interview.
