I started at Aerie in October of 2018 due to the Natural Lighting Experts no longer being in business. I started as a Brand Ambassador (Sales Associate) until January. In January I was promoted to Merchandising lead, which is apart of the management teach which works with re-merchandising the store along with opening and closing the store periodically. After holding this position for a while I was promoted to Sales Lead. This is my current position, and the position which I feel suits me best with the company. My main duties in the role involve talent management in which I help hire new employees and train them as needed. This position requires about 30-35 hours per week with all the same duties as a merchandising lead, but with the addition of training all new employees. I do periodically employee assessment and evaluations, open or close the store six days a week, and help foster a great working environment by promoting staff appreciation and intensives. I'm currently also the Credit Ambassador for the store, and I work to drive credit in our store. Show less

    • Office Administrative Assistant
      • Jan 2017 - Oct 2018

Both companies were housed in the same office space, and split my time between the two. Worked with Trusted House Relief as an Administrative assistant filing documents, organizing the office space, and scheduling the CEO's week and daily meetings. A typical day may consist of grabbing the mail and heading to the office to start the day by making coffee for the boss. Often times There were piles on my desk to take care of. I would answer any pressing emails and listen to all phone messages and reply if needed. Next I would check on our current property listing to update any of them if needed. Afterwards I would run to the post office, and send out any mail that needed to be sent certified mail. While out of the office I would purchase any necessary supplies for the officer, and pick up lunch. After lunch I would check over emails again making sure to download any deeds or paper needing to be filed downtown or in the office. Natural Lighting Experts brought me on in July of 2018 as an Office Administrator. I was working for both companies, but a month after I started at the Natural Lighting Experts I worked almost exclusively for them. I was in charge of scheduling day to day consultations, repairs, and installations. Along with going to trade shows, following up with clients, creating estimates, organizing and receiving inventory, and processing payment on a clover device. Show less
