Besides working on my graduation project, I worked part-time on the development of an urban atlas of the city of Wageningen for the project ‘The image of Wageningen. For this atlas I made several thematic maps and icons. The results of this study and the atlas will be published in ‘Scape magazine. In the summer of 2005 I participated in the Workshop “Modern Architecture around Independence”. The workshop was organized for students of the TU/e, TU Delft, KU Leuven and UCLAs and had as main purpose to document and analyze modern architecture in Tanzania from the period around independence. During the workshop, we analyzed in a group of four students the Kariakoo area with a focus on the central market complex of the African Architect BJ Amuli. In the summer of 2005 I participated in the Workshop “Modern Architecture around Independence”. The workshop was organized for students of the TU/e, TU Delft, KU Leuven and UCLAs and had as main purpose to document and analyze modern architecture in Tanzania from the period around independence.
