Reporting to President/CEO and CSCC Board Members overseeing a large budget (relative to a not-for-profit organization and a small food kiosk), led a team of two specialists on behalf of CSCC and a full kitchen staff of twelve for Fuel for Gold; to develop and implement all brand awareness and sponsorship activities, including managing national campaigns.The Canadian Sport Centre Calgary (CSCC) is one of the top Olympic/Paralympic sport training environments in the world. The CSCC is an organization that strives to develop a positive and comprehensive environment focused on excellence by providing Canadian athletes and coaches with leading experts in the fields of exercise physiology, sport medicine, strength and conditioning, biomechanics, nutrition, mental training, coach education and life services.Fuel for Gold (Food Kiosk) was a project that I lead through the planning stages to a fully operational fast, fresh, healthy, and organic food kiosk located at the University of Calgary (MacHall) whereby all the money raised goes back to supporting Canadian Olympic and Paralympic Athletes. Fuel for Gold menu is inspired by Canadian athletes and designed by a team of CSCC dieticians and professional chefs. Using locally sourced ingredients that are freshly prepared and ready to eat meals (e.g. panini, bean salads, fruit cups), daily soups, and a hot entrée feature each day.
