He's all the things you'd expect as the best - strategic, smart, focused, hard-working, technically-savvy - but there's one story that epitomizes what Brian is about. We were working late one night - it was around 10pm - and I asked him what he was still doing at the office because I knew he finished his work earlier. He said "Oh, I'm working on something else". I found out he stayed because his colleagues were struggling with an issue and he wouldn't leave until he helped them solve the issue. In a world in which people generalize and talk about entitlement, Brian is the opposite. His desk was always busy because his peers came to him and he found answers. Whenever I had a major issue, everyone knew it was going to be on Brian's desk. He won so many awards and spent every acceptance talking about how it wouldn't have been possible without his peers and team. He's "loyalty" personified and cares more about success than almost anyone I've ever met. I not only would take him on my team - wherever I land, I'm going to move heaven and earth to get him there. He was always looking for innovative ways to solve replenishment problems, and brought the same vision to the rest of the team. I look up to him, and value how he was able to bring our team together with his positive energy, laughter, and dedication.
