This is a special recommendation for me to write because there aren't enough superlatives to describe how incredibly special of a talent that Brian is. Brian is the best business analyst I've ever met - the BEST. He's all the things you'd expect as the best - strategic, smart, focused, hard-working, technically-savvy - but there's one story that epitomizes what Brian is about. We were working late one night - it was around 10pm - and I asked him what he was still doing at the office because I knew he finished his work earlier. He said "Oh, I'm working on something else". I found out he stayed because his colleagues were struggling with an issue and he wouldn't leave until he helped them solve the issue. In a world in which people generalize and talk about entitlement, Brian is the opposite. His desk was always busy because his peers came to him and he found answers. Whenever I had a major issue, everyone knew it was going to be on Brian's desk. He won so many awards and spent every acceptance talking about how it wouldn't have been possible without his peers and team. He's "loyalty" personified and cares more about success than almost anyone I've ever met. I not only would take him on my team - wherever I land, I'm going to move heaven and earth to get him there. He's the best.

Brian is the type of colleague that you want to have on your team. He is passionate, driven, but most importantly a team player. While I worked with him at Target Canada, he led many projects and was able to guide analysts, store leaders, and HQ management. He was always looking for innovative ways to solve replenishment problems, and brought the same vision to the rest of the team. I look up to him, and value how he was able to bring our team together with his positive energy, laughter, and dedication. Despite how busy he was, he never hesitated to take a second and help someone when they needed it, or to recognize a peer when the occasion arose. I would love to work with Brian again some day, and I believe he will be a great asset to any company that he chooses to work for.
