I volunteered with Maribel a number of times in our community. I first began reading her blog The Frugal Writer in 2011 and quickly became a fan. We became personal friends soon afterward. I have benefitted from her expertise in time management and organizational skills. Maribel is dependably honest and kind, reliably cheerful and works smart. I can recommend her as a genius problem solver, and she has the magic touch when it comes to analyzing and improving upon any given system.

I've been working with Maribel for a number of months through her role with Start School Later. In terms of someone with an attention to detail, who can really analyze potential problems, I have had a really collaborative experience as we have developed campaigns on the BlastRoots platform - ultimately helping lead to a better product for her activists, parents and school kids, and our overall user base. It's exciting to see the organization go through growth and achieving legislative success, and Maribel's vision for how outside tools, products and services can help achieve that goal is key.
