Jeffrey Phillips
Creative Director is a position of great merit and often awarded only to the chosen and deserving few that can manage others, conceptualize, create and produce quality work. Jon Sasala is, hands down, one of the finest craftsman to hold such a position. I worked with Jon as a prepress and production liaison between the Long Island Press and their print vendor for nearly 5 years. It takes a special talent to grasp the pre-press and print production aspect of publishing all the while handling the daily responsibilities of a Creative Director, all of which Sasala has done with the greatest of ease. Jon’s attention to detail, superb communication skills and his ability to adapt to nearly any request, made our collaborations seamless and extremely productive. Jon’s graphic design ability deserves equal or even greater attention, as week after week his showcase cover art (in addition to countless other material) was always thought provoking, original and extremely creative.

Jon is one of the most talented and insightful colleagues I have ever worked with, going well beyond the art and production world he rules here at the Long Island Press. I seek his counsel in all aspects of the operation of the paper. He works well beyond his job description and he takes his work and his job damned seriously. He has an eye that's right on target for every project, and he knows how and when to push the limits. Jon's a multi-talented artist, a conscientious manager and a stand-up guy.

The success of the Long Island Press allowed Morey Publishing to diversify and create a website development and digital marketing division. This division leverages our ability to produce high quality content married with stunning design into custom solutions for corporate and non-profit clients that share our values and commitment to the region. In 2017 we changed our name to Morey Creative Studios and now exclusively focus on managing our clients digital presence with Inbound Lead Generation, Sales Enablement and Customer Retention. We are one of the fastest growing Hubspot Partner Agency, achieving the Platinum status in only three years, which is a testament to the quality of services we deliver. Because we give a shit.
