I was working on finding the best solution to the implementation of a wireless security router. I investigated the issue and worked on different solutions. The solutions included using existing single board computers, making our customized Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and others. I worked on the calculating the feasiblity of each method and the implementation of the router using each one. During this process I had to work a little with OpenWRT which is a linux-based operating system for networking equipments. I had the role of communication with manufacturers from China in order to manufacture our final product. Show less

    • Math Teacher
      • Feb 2018 - Jun 2018

During my work in that position, I taught math to students from different grades. My teaching duties included Grade 1 to Grade 7 students. I was able to develop a personalized teaching plan to every student in the school based on their current level. When I started the job, I did a placement test and assessment to all students to find out their actual level in Math. Working with the students on their actual level, made students more comfortable with math, loved it and were more able to develop faster to reach their target level close to the end of the year. Some students were able to develop their math skills by 3 or 4 grades up in just 5 months. Show less

My research in McMaster University focused on the topic of the exploration and exploitation of Multi-Channel Cognitive Radio (CR) Networks. I checked the effect of uncertainty in the statistics of Primary Users' activities on the quality of the PUs' communication service. We developed an algorithm based on sequential learning algorithms used to solve Multi-Arm Bandit(MAB) problem. I also studied other problems including the energy-based trajectory optimization of drones and specifically quad-copters. Show less

During this role in McMaster University, I assisted in teaching multiple engineering courses. My duties included giving lectures, review lectures, tutorials, labs and grading exams. I have particpated in teaching the following courses;- Introduction to Electrical Engineering (2CI5): In this course I helped students to build, simulate and tests electrical circuits using different instruments including oscilloscopes, function generators and circuit simulation tools.- Communication Systems (3TR4) : In this course I helped students understand the fundamentals of analog and digital communications. I helped them mostly with analog filter design and the simulation and implementation of Analog Modulation and Digital Modulation techniques.- Circuits and Systems (2CJ4)- Probability, Random Processes, and Statistical Inference (3TQ4) Show less

I worked in the Electrical Installations Department of the Arab Contractors Company. We used the electrical telecommunications outline of buildings to trace the wires and make sure they are working properly. I was also given the task of suggesting the best spots to install the landline rooms. I worked in the Electrical Installations Department of the Arab Contractors Company.
