  Brenau Academy is an all girls high school located on Brenau University's campus. As the yearbook/journalism instructor, I supported the students in creating the school's yearbook each year. Topics included photography, basic design and layout, grammar, creative writing. The students were were a mixture of local, national and international 14-17 year-olds. Both years, I led a group of the students on a service-learning trip to New Orleans to rebuild homes damaged by hurricanes and learn about local culture. We returned and gave a video/photo presentation of our trip to the school and to a local church.

  Supporter on-air operations, responsible for duties as the Chief Operator, helped ensure that WBCX maintained FCC compliance. This entailed checking power readings and maintaining the contents of the public file. I also assisted in the development of a strategic 5-year plan for WBCX, as well as various change plans. On air, I was an on-air DJ and producer at Eclectic 89.1. I hosted and produced a two to three hour weekly radio, music show called "The Soul Track," and hosted and produced interview segments that air weekday mornings called "Voices of Brenau." In addition, I produced and edited shows for several faculty members at Brenau University.
