My primary responsibility is on our Buyer's Guide team, where I write and maintain our Make Model pages (MMPs). This involves evaluating and reviewing vehicles via hands-on driving as well as delving into the brochures and manuals to understand them in and out. Plus, I often have to search the manufacturer sites for all the technical and statistical data as a point of comparison to competitors in each class. This, along with Car and Driver's own test data, and my personal automotive knowledge combines to create these detailed reviews. That's my job in a nutshell. As a Car and Driver editor once said, "I don't have a job, I have a hobby with a paycheck."
