  I assisted to oversee editorial output of publication projects undertaken by the company. I worked with an editor to manage the company’s newsletter portfolio. Daily tasks included copywriting, copyediting, and proofreading all materials received to ensure they are ready for publication.I was also:- In charge of project management and coordination, leading a team of writers, designers and photographers to see projects through from conceptualisation to completion.- Responsible for liaising with clients and suppliers to ensure clients’ needs are met and their deliverables are completed according to schedule.Clients served included town councils, public agencies, and education institutions.

  I wrote and edited news stories for The Star newspaper under the national news section, MetroPerak section, and Star Online news portal. My day-to-day tasks included evaluating and keeping tabs with news leads to develop story ideas, recording news footage to create videos for Star Media Group's TV platform StarTV.com, and shooting photos to accompany news stories publication (when needed). I also arranged and conducted interviews with individuals knowledgeable about each story's subject matter, and followed through on beat sources to gather information for stories. Some of my memorable experiences were covering the Maybank Bali Marathon 2014 in Indonesia, Forevermark's The Promise 2015 diamond exhibition in Hong Kong, and the 14th General Election of Malaysia in 2018.
