We’re Everyday Plastic. An evidence-led social enterprise delivering accessible learning and campaigns that tackle the effects of the plastic problem that are felt across our society. We support everyday people, communities and changemakers in government and business, by sharing credible insights, spreading knowledge, pushing for better regulation, and inspiring behaviour change. We're co-founders of The Big Plastic Count – the UK’s largest-ever investigation into household waste. Run in partnership with Greenpeace UK, the campaign asked people from across the UK to count their plastic waste for one week and submit their results online. Nearly 100,000 households participated in The Big Plastic Count in 2022, prompting response and reaction from government and industry. The Big Plastic Count has been confirmed to take place again in 2023 and 2024.
