CEO since May 2017. VTI is among the world biggest manufacturers of edge glued panels and glulam to the furniture industry, the window industry and the DIY market. Our yearly capacity is more than 2.5 million m2. We use our human and financial resources to grow in efficiency for the benefit of our customers as we gain experience of new requirements and demands. In 2018 we developed a new sustainable business area under the name NORTO, which are interior products made from residual wood from the production of glulam. The residual wood upcycles and is produced for ceiling and wall coverings as well as floor and kitchen solutions. In 2020 we established a new factory in Latvia with the aim of increasing the production capacity of DYI products. The factory will be expanded with a warehouse during 2022. We see it as our most important job to meet the requirements of our customers regarding commitment, innovation and quality in all aspects. We believe in cultivating a valuable co-operation that is based on a mutually open and trusting relationship. The key to maintaining and improving VTI’s position as a clear market leader is the mutual development of components, employees and the latest technology in a close relationship. We have a strong focus of sustainability, and use only FSC-certified and slow-growing pine from Nordic forests. Show less
