Laws of Motion- A New Song Cycle

  Laws of Motion is a song-cycle of 12 songs centered on the theme of wasted potential. Serving as an antithesis to the obsessive fear of wasting time and potential in modern society, it follows 7 interconnected characters as they each navigate their lives. Using the imagery of Isaac Newton's Laws of Motion, it ventures to say it might just be okay to not have everything figured out. Laws of Motion was premiered in late April 2021 by the College of Saint Rose Musical Theatre Workshop. Laws of Motion is a song-cycle of 12 songs centered on the theme of wasted potential.
