      Working in a debt collection role was not something I'd ever thought I'd end up doing, but it ended up teaching me a lot about sensitivity and kindness. Many people were in dire situations and needed to get their debt down. It taught me that although the industry itself has a very harsh reputation for being demanding and unkind, the kind and flexible approach was in fact the best way to get results and have good relationships with the customers.
