My "why" is that I think everyone on this Earth has the opportunity to live their best life. The one that they truly want. The life that they are supposed to live. This is not an easy thing to accomplish and most people defer or even reject it's consideration. I think that is a mistake. In order to live one's optimal life, they have to be intentional and aware. They have to be prepared to think through the deep and important questions. Many are sleepwalking through life with a "take what I can… Show more My "why" is that I think everyone on this Earth has the opportunity to live their best life. The one that they truly want. In order to live one's optimal life, they have to be intentional and aware. They have to be prepared to think through the deep and important questions. Many are sleepwalking through life with a "take what I can get" attitude. It doesn't have to be that way. I work closely with people to identify the ideal place they want to be in their life - now and in the future. Once we have a destination, we think through the obstacles that might get in the way, develop an action plan to get them there, and monitor it along the way. The planning elements are more than just how to invest money or save on taxes. It takes a complete view of the client's life and looks at the powerful, smart, and long term options available to determine the best course of action. I help people find equilibrium between their heart's core and their money through effective financial life guidance and planning. In 2011, I completed a thru-hike of the 2,182 mile Appalachian Trail. The experience was one of the hardest, most rewarding, and mentally challenging endeavors that I ever attempted. I hiked the trail northbound, beginning in Springer Mounain, Georgia and finishing atop Mount Katahdin in Maine. Along the way, I learned the importance of discipline, balance, flexibility, and perseverance. I learned a lot about myself and the value of setting meaningful goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly… Show more In 2011, I completed a thru-hike of the 2,182 mile Appalachian Trail.
