He graduated from the U.S. Military Academy as an Infantry Officer in 1956 and during his 33 year career, he served in a variety of intelligence, counterintelligence and security positions across the Continental USA, and globally in Europe, Vietnam, and Latin America. ►General Weinstein went on to Command the U.S. Army Intelligence Center and School at Fort Huachuca and was instrumental in developing intelligence doctrine for the battlefield and for establishing Combat Electronic Warfare Intelligence Units—still in use today. ►General Weinstein retired in 1989 and continued to influence military intelligence until his sad passing in 2007. I am honored to have had General Weinstein influence my life in profound way as a mentor, friend and father-in-law.
