I was the most senior of the student aides to the IT Director when he moved to a different department, becoming the de factor IT Director for the rest of the semester. I was hired to the interim position officially in May when the department had not yet hired a replacement. My main duties included maintaining the computer systems in the department including hardware and software replacement, network maintenance, and gathering information for my replacement to insure a smooth transition. I worked here during many academic breaks during my undergraduate time (summer, thanksgiving, winter, spring). My main duties included selling tickets at box office, selling concessions, and cleaning theaters after a show. Many times I would have to organize and handle large volumes of customers for long periods on busy nights. I worked here during many academic breaks during my undergraduate time (summer, thanksgiving, winter, spring). My main duties included troubleshooting computer systems, installing hardware/software for users and researching new programs for the company. One of the programs I researched for the company (and ultimately was utilized) was a time/resource tracking software that the employees can use for keeping track of expenses and generating invoices for clients.
