I worked with Lisa and the Senior Management Team at Gloucester City Homes throughout its transition from ALMO to Registered Housing Provider by means of Large Scale Voluntary Transfer (LSVT) in March 2015. The process all-in-all took around 2.5 years. Throughout that time, Lisa proved her skills in housing management and also in particular in terms of managing negotiations. She showed a keen willingness to be involved in the major land and commercial transactions with the Council. Her calm and gentle manner was ideal for this situation and we quickly found a route through some difficult discussions with Lisa taking the lead. She was also willing to learn from the process and develop new skills, taking advice where necessary. Lisa has always been very polite and friendly to work with and I look forward to working with her at some time in the future.

Lisa was a very good and well motivated student when she was studying for the Foundation Degree in Housing with Support. She demonstrated a very strong understanding of housing issues and was able to communicate her understanding excellently in class and in her assessed work. She managed to do all of these while have to deal with an extended period of change in the organisation in which she works as a senior manager, which is to her credit.
