Alex became the first employee of Cega, a three-person company operating from an East London living room. He was fully involved with all aspects of design, development and project management and was a key factor in the company’s success and expansion to a work force of over 15 before they merged in 1999 with Finish IT company RTS Networks, to become RTSe. Alex formed his own small production venture primarily focused on videos for small to medium businesses. Coordinating directly with his clients, Alex wrote, story-boarded, shot and edited promotional videos using semi-pro Hi8 and S-VHS equipment. Projects ranged from editing existing footage for The Body Shop to contracted productions abroad in Germany and Greece.
