Julie is one of those employees a person looks back on and realizes how much easier she made his or her job. She's not just great at her job, she's great at what her job OUGHT to be. Julie doesn't clock in and out mentally and physically like some workers do. She thinks marketing all the time, and applies her insights to the work at hand. She has a keen means of remembering marketing tactics and resources created in the past, and continually draws on that history to respin, recombine, and maximize existing investments in new and compelling ways. She executes on time and on budget even when it means corralling resources and people who are not always the most willing participants. In my 20-year career, I can count on one hand the number of employees I would be quick to snap up and take with me to any potential job, and Julie is one of those.
