Bio
Ann B. Brownell, PhD
Daniela has a positive and meaningful impact on everything she does! She was the Communication Intern with Origami Works Foundation for the summer of 2022. Daniela is conscientious and thorough; she plans ahead, thinks through scenarios, considers different options, and follows through. Daniela works really well on projects both independently and collaboratively. Among other things, she researched communication practices of other organizations and gathered metrics. As her capstone project, Daniela presented a proposal for a communication plan at our Team Meeting. She included a couple of bold recommendations backed up with data and compelling reasons.
Becca Senatore
Daniela began her work at Origami Works Foundation with a can-do attitude, heaps of enthusiasm, and a clear desire to learn and grow during her time with us. She was always a joy to work with and proved herself a capable, intelligent, and hard-working colleague. I worked with Daniela to research and write from scratch a new privacy policy for a website, and she showed a fantastic ability to organize her work (of which there was plenty!), prioritize tasks, and effectively communicate with others working on the project to produce high-quality work in a field she truly learned about on the fly. When she presented the social media strategy she developed (also from scratch!) to our team, we were all incredibly impressed and grateful for her thorough work, which included deep industry research, a distillation of best practices, and specific next steps for our team to follow. Daniela's work will help guide our organization for years to come, and she is sorely missed! We wish her the best and can't wait to see the fantastic work she is able to produce for fortunate future employers.
