  Primarily site based as the project manager on a £2.5M London city refurbishment contract, I gained invaluable experience working alongside a high-profile construction and property development head contractor. Our role as the structural steel contractor was to fabricate and install support beams and new lift shafts to an existing 7 story factory building, as well as installing 2 additional stories on the roof. My responsibilities as the project manager for ASME Engineering included scheduling of factory production, deliveries and installation, as well as constant collaboration with the head contractor. Being site based also meant I was fortunate to be heavily involved in the installation methodology and design solutions required when working on a pre-1930’s building. Show less
