I hired Ayaka onto my team after months of searching for the right fit and interviewing several dozen candidates. In a nutshell, she was a delight to work with. I slept well at night, knowing she could manage high work volumes and ever-shifting direction and deadlines, and deliver quality output. She bonded easily with the team, picked things up really quickly and made projects her own, approaching them with a unique strategic perspective, but also willing to roll up her sleeves to make them happen. She was refreshingly proactive about taking on new responsibilities and getting feedback. She had zen-like patience when encountering roadblocks, and was calm and collected when facing difficult situations. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Ayaka is an outstanding communications and marketing performer. As her manager at Fenix International, she did a remarkable job leading the execution of all aspects of our communication and marketing for a Kickstarter campaign that exceeded our fundraising goal by over 450%. She was both systematic and strategic in her work - always thinking one step ahead of where we needed to be in terms of message and outreach. She is also fun to work with. I'm confident that she will make an incredible contribution to any team with which she chooses to share her talents.

Partnered with cities, counties, and state agencies, nonprofits, and businesses to raise awareness about NRDC and Ad Council's "Save The Food" Campaign to reduce food waste. 40% of food in the US is wasted. Consumer education campaigns offer the highest return-on-investment for strategies to reduce wasted food. Consumers are responsible for more wasted food than grocery stores and restaurants combined so changing household behavior is key!
