Enzo was my direct manager at Red Bull. His leadership and coaching skills quickly allowed me to grow and develop my skills in my role. Enzo always was willing to put in the effort to ensure I was comfortable and happy in my day to day position. Highly recommend Enzo into any future leadership team roles as he was a huge part of my positive experience at Red Bull.

I worked with Enzo at the Ministry of Food and reported to him directly, as a Duty Manager. It was a pleasure to work with him and share in his knowledge of all things hospitality. His expertise in cocktail mixology was rivalled only by his knowledge of fine wines and craft beers. As a Manager, I found Enzo to be empowering and supportive. He was never afraid to jump in and do the job of one of his reports or support the team when they needed it the most. Enzo’s responses to escalated customer situations were always calm and level-headed and he treated our customers with the utmost respect, perhaps at times when they didn’t deserve it! Enzo was incredibly responsible when it came to our Liquor Licence and took no chances. He would always ensure that it was his name on the wall when he was working so that no other Duty Manager would be responsible for any mistakes made, not that we ever had to deal with that! Hopefully, Enzo & I get the chance to work together again soon!

Joining the only wine business in Australia & New Zealand to exclusively package in keg & can is an incredibly exciting challenge! My role primarily involves ensuring Riot's availability (Wine & Spritz) across Victoria, as well as increasing activations, events & overall brand presence. As part of the broader Carlton & United Breweries business (Asahi Beverages), this also involves a large amount of internal stakeholder management - working closely with the local Business Development Executives to ensure that our brand is top of mind for both them & their customers. Riot products focus on what modern consumers are looking for - low preservatives, no added sugar, sustainability, moderation & supporting local. In short; we create better wines for better times! Our wines are fresher, easier, cleaner & better - the Riot way. I'll see you at the bar for the full story & a refreshing spritz?! Show less

    • Local On Premise Manager (Account Manager | People Manager | Sales Coach)
      • Dec 2019 - May 2023

Furthering my employment with Red Bull, I progressed to the Local On Premise Manager (LOPM) position for team VIC/TAS. Building on the foundations of my Musketeer role, I am responsibile for the Account Management of approximately 350 top On Premise venues & events. I also carry People Management responsibilities for 2 Sales Team members & People Leadership responsibilities for the wider team, with a focus on Sales Coaching to develop a high performing State team.As a Local On Premise Manager, I am tasked with supporting the Regional On Premise Manager (ROPM) with the Management and Coaching of our team, as well as developing content and sales training sessions for State Meetings, to further the team's knowledge/skillsets. During the State's key moments, I often also take on additional responsibility in ensuring our execution across these events are best-in-class.Throughout COVID, our business priorities shifted and I had the opportunity to reach out to many of our key customers in Off Premise. Calling on customers in the Retail Liquor, Corporate Grocery and P&C segments gave me a broader understanding of how to execute sales and marketing strategies across multiple sales channels. With a focus on range and execution, I now employ strategies that reach consumers across multiple 'occasions' and an increasing number of touch-points in their consumer journey. As always - there's so much more to this role than what fits a LinkedIn description box, so if you want to know more about it then let's sit down over a can and have a chat! Show less

    • Musketeer - North Melbourne (On Premise Sales & Marketing | Business Development)
      • Oct 2018 - Dec 2019

Joining the team at Red Bull Australia, I took on the position of Musketeer for the North Metro & Inner West area of Melbourne, Victoria. My territory also included Southbank, Bendigo & the Alpine region. What is a Musketeer? Well, without giving you the full back story to the title or using terms like "Business Development Manager", I'd like to say I’m an Enjoyable Experience Curator. I make sure that Red Bull is top of mind for you when you step into any of the major bars, music venues and night clubs in my territory. My work is probably one of the first things you notice in a venue and if there's anything fun or exciting going on, you can bet I was probably behind it! That's not to mention the countless exciting events that I'm part of too...My venues like to think of me as their indispensable sales & marketing consultant, because they know I'm there to support them & help them profitably grow their business. If you want to know more about this role - why not just ask me? It is with great pride that I introduce the launch of Acute Consultancy! The Acute team is based around a core of digital natives who understand evolving technology and how to successfully implement them in all industries and emerging markets. Social Media marketing and digital marketing are our specialty areas, whilst still servicing the full range of marketing environments and concepts. Marketing can be complex, and it's not necessarily an easy concept to get your head around. Why would you invest money into something that doesn't necessarily give you a tangible return? It's a question we hear frequently and resonates particularly with those from the financial sector, who are used to being able to log an asset for every investment. However, this is where Acute comes in, to educate and promote the benefits of investing in your brand and how you market it, as well as guiding you through the implementation process. Our main focusses are Marketing Strategy Development & Social Media Management. It was an absolute pleasure to be at the helm of a company that saw new-age marketing taken in some very unique and exciting directions! Show less

Originally, I joined the Ministry of Food team as the sole Duty Manager and a cocktail bartender, as that's where my training in the industry mostly sits. When I joined the company, it was known as a Wellington institution that had been operating for 28 years, under the ownership of a Husband & Wife duo. From the time I joined, we sought to grow this profile even further and became known as one of Wellington's true hubs of hospitality. However, quickly after joining, I was also promoted to the Assistant Manager role (2IC), as the company saw the value that I could add. About a year later, I took over as General Manager of the entire venue - responsible for the full bar, restaurant and catering divisions. This was a role I remained in for a little over a year. My expertise gained in this role has created a wealth of knowledge in local craft beer, fine wine, bistro dining and delectable cocktails. My role meant that I was in charge of the entire team and oversaw all day-to-day business operations, whilst simultaneously trying to maximise my time on the 'floor', to ensure that I could remain customer-facing and take part in all of the everyday business roles myself. Hospitality, and bartending in particular, is an industry I've always had a passion for and this position allowed me to de-stress and do what I love! Show less

Xtracta provides technology, powered by artificial intelligence that automatically captures data from semi-structured documents. Supporting scanned, photographed or digital documents, the technology is designed to be embedded into mobile, cloud or desktop apps via an easy to use API. Utilising machine learning and big data, the technology doesn't require manual template setup and can scale to a limitless count of document designs; perfect for document types like invoices, receipts, purchase orders & more. Heading to the Sage Summit 2016 in Chicago, I took on the role of Marketing Consultant with Xtracta. I was then asked to attend another conference with them in Sydney in April 2017, under the same role. Show less

Furthering my employment as a Retail Sales Specialist with Moore Wilson's, I acquired a Duty Manager's Licence with the Wellington City Council and became a Liquor Duty Manager.I took on additional responsibility at Moore Wilson's Liquor, including formalising cash ups, overseeing ID & intoxication checks and carrying the responsibility for the Liquor Licence whilst on duty. At times, this meant that I was the sole Manager on duty for the store.

Joining the Moore Wilson's family at their Wellington CBD location, I worked in the Liquor Department as a Retail Sales Specialist.Working at Moore Wilson's liquor provided a unique opportunity to learn a vast amount of wine, beer and spirits knowledge. With a focus on craft beers, New Zealand & International wines and an unparalleled line-up of Global spirit brands - I was able to quickly learn about many of the different styles and brands to develop a strong foundation for my career in Hospitality. As a quick learner, I was promptly brought in to Wine & Spirit Tasting events to speak with the Winemaker/Distiller and understand more about tasting notes, flavours and pairings. This enabled me to quickly progress my sales career and develop a passion for mixology, which ultimately led to my desire to work on the other side of the bar! This was a position that I held part-time, whilst also studying my degree at Victoria University of Wellington. TechPass was another company I founded off the back of my success with DrivePass. We created pocket-sized guides for the elderly, that assisted them in using online technologies. We produced two guides: * BuyPass - a guide to using TradeMe and Countdown Online Shopping * SocialPass - a guide to using Facebook and Skype. These step-by-step instruction guides assisted the elderly in these common technologies and was picked up by the New Zealand nation-wide organisation 'SeniorNet'. Show less

This was a pilot for a role that the CEO of the Young Enterprise Trust (Terry Shubkin) wanted to create. This involved me sitting in on all of the Trust's Board Meetings and giving advice from a student (or recent alumni) perspective. My advice was mainly around how to increase participation numbers, as well as how to engage the students, schools and alumni with the Trust and it's range of programs. This was a successful year-long role, which has led to the appointment of further students and alumni into the role since. Show less

Kicking off my interest in Market Research and consumer data - I spent three days at the Food Show in Wellington as a consumer surveyor & interaction specialist. My goal was to approach people at the event and strike up a meaningful conversation about their experience with the brand & organisation, before then prompting them to fill out a short survey on an iPad. The data collected from this surveyor was then analysed and the metrics used to inform decisions about further events. DrivePass was a company that I founded in Year 11 of my schooling at Wanganui Collegiate School, under the Lion Foundation Young Enterprise Scheme. We created pocket-sized revision guides for the New Zealand Road Rules, as supplementary content to the official New Zealand Road Code. The business was extremely successful under the Young Enterprise Scheme, taking out 3rd place in the National Business Awards (out of 594 entries) & prompting conversations with investors, following our 'Dragons Den' style pitch. However, I made the decision to sell this business to the NZTA, to re-brand and market the product under their suite of existing products and take it to market that way. This was because this was the route I believed would see the most impact with the consumer & maximise the potential benefit of the product. I was retained by NZTA as a consultant, to develop the product under their branding. Show less
