  I am an undergraduate writing consultant at the UT Austin Writing Center. I practice the NDNE (Non-Directive Non-Evaluative) method to help fellow students improve their writing process, not just the work in question. I will consult for application essays, technical writing, class assignments, creative works, presentations, science papers, and more. Students I work with come from a variety of backgrounds, and I'm constantly attending trainings to learn how to best support ESL (English as a Second Language), neurodivergent, and first-generation students, among others.

  I work with two other undergraduates to transcribe signs from 13 different sign languages, contributing to a database of transcriptions with the end goal of supporting further research into sign language origins. For the purposes of the project, the Hamburg Notation System is used to record 3-dimensional signs.

  I worked with UT-Austin's Pediatric Coping & Language Lab in the School of Education for three weeks. I, along with two other students from the Austin area, engaged in multiple activities with the graduate students, among which include sitting in on two psychology classes, practicing and finetuning their interview-filming techniques, and ultimately giving a research presentation (my topic being the relationship between musical ability and second language acquisition).
