Recreated web apps that were double digit load times to sub second load times. Leveraging HTML5 appCache for offline enabled browsing and SPA AJAX techniques to get the fastest perceived performance of the web app. I took the essentials of what we needed from the JavaScript frameworks we had at our disposal and consolidated or wrote our own implementations to keep the app as responsive and fast as possible - not to mention a lot less bloated. Worked with UX leads to define and consolidate mobile best practices and standards for the company to follow. Additionally, I wrote the code guidelines for JavaScript and best practices for web developers to follow so we can have more scalable, reusable, and robust solutions. I created the AirWatch 7.3 App Catalog that will be used by millions of end users. This mobile web app has had every effort put into optimization of performance, functionality, security, and user experience. On top of a custom responsive design, I fine tuned the performance for mobile devices that may be used in low network areas and offline situations so that end users have the best possible UX. This reimagined App Catalog was featured in the Keynote of AirWatch's 2014 Connect event -- their largest convention of the year. Integrated Apple's latest License Base VPP with the AirWatch MAM solution. Worked with libraries and frameworks such as, jQuery, LESS, FastClick, Hammer, History.js, Handlebars.js, some Angular, and many others.
