Game: Count Pengula's Castle A 2D side-viewing Flash game for the PC. Features: Multiple character switching and a Walrus Vampire that transforms into mist Final Industry Project at VFS. We formed a 5-man team and researched / brainstormed suitable concepts for a month. I wrote and maintained all the design documentation. We went through a full Pre-Pro cycle, made and tested a prototype. I built the level editor in Flash, with drag-and-drop functionality. I did the Environment art and animation using a 3DS Max-Photoshop-Flash Pipeline We tested, iterated and changed as the project came along. We cried. We laughed. We brought in focus testers and listened to what they said. We changed more stuff according to what they said. I wrote the initial code in Actionscript3 for the enemy collision and damage, the health bar and the UI. We even managed to put in an awesome boss battle. We made our own game and we're really proud of it. Show less
