Creating flyers, handling social media accounts, recruiting students via phone and in-person, scheduling appointments, filing documents, inputting students into Blumen, networking and collaborating with other organizations in order to spread the word about our free services for students. A few of these organizations include Akaku TV, Maui Family Support Services, Maui Family Magazine, Inmate Initiative, Women Helping Women, American Job Center, Pacific Media Group, etc., completing an inventory of both office supplies and equipment, shredding documents, etc.

Under the supervision of a sergeant, I worked in the receiving desk with other recruits. My duties included fingerprinting both inmates and the public by using ink or digitally with a Live Scan machine, feeding inmates, assisting in transporting inmates to court, helping with delivering mail to the courts, prosecutor's office, and county's office, answering phone calls, taking photographs of inmates as well as sex offenders, completing status checks of inmates, checking the temperatures of inmates, assisting applicants applying for a firearms permit, etc.After working at the Receiving Desk, I started working along with MPD's criminalists in the Crime Lab. I assisted in clerical work. I am currently working at the forensic facility and assist forensic pathologist in autopsies.

Assisted in copying and scanning of documents, helped attorneys prepare for trial, analyzed liquor board and criminal cases, carried out a news article search, providing assistance to attorneys with appellate case review, disposing of old case files, preparing motion responses and memorandum, locating examinees who recently passed the State of Hawaii Bar Exam, and drafting the statement of facts for cases.
