  Texas Electric Cooperatives (TEC) is the statewide trade association representing the interests of 75 member-owned, non-profit electric utility providers throughout Texas. TEC's member cooperatives provide low-cost, reliable power to more than 4 million residential, commercial, and industrial customers in 241 Texas counties. As Director of Legislative Affairs, I was responsible for development and execution of: -- TEC's engagement with members of the State Legislature and their staffs, as well as -- Fundraising for and disbursement of TEC's political action committee: Rural Friends of Electric Cooperatives.
