As the CEO, the mission of the Utah Down Syndrome Foundation of providing hope to individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and the community through support, education, activities, outreach, and advocacy was strengthened. By changing UDSF's accounting system and with strategic financial management, UDSF's operating income increased by 119%. Donor contributions were maximized through efficient expenditure management with 79% of expenditures going toward programming, 19% going to administrative costs, and only 2% going to fundraising. The redesign of UDSFs website improved UDSF's branding and increased traffic by 300%. In collaboration with the Department of Health, I published UDSF's first New & Expectant Parent Resource Guide that provides information and support to parents who receive a Down syndrome diagnosis for their child (https://www.udsf.org/programs/medical-providers.html). This resource guide is distributed across the state through hospitals and medical providers.
