Project title : Targeting mitochondrial respiratory chain using uncouplers to increase post thaw cell viability. Using dinitrophenol (DNP) as an uncoupler, cultured human embryonic kidney (HEK 293) and macrophage (Raw 264.7) cell lines were tested to increase cell viability post revival. Experiments to prove hypothesis included florescence imaging, protein extraction, western blotting, clonogenic assay and analyzing growth kinetics.
