I knew Joanne briefly in my short stay on an official visit to Singapore earlier on in 2013 with a group of other reporters also from Sri Lanka. Joanne who took us around to the hotels operated by her company in that promotional campaign was professional and focused in her debriefs of her employer and their commercial works.
