      • Created a Maximo Enterprise Adapter (MEA) to import data from the financial system to keep personnel data synchronized. This required creating a SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) package to extract the data from Costpoint and format it for the MEA import. • Cloned the asset module of Maximo and configured it to have two separate versions. Personnel were only allowed to see the assets and custom fields associated with the module where they had access. • Upgraded Maximo from 7.1.1.6 to 7.5 • On closeout team responsible for maintaining systems during government audit at end of contract. Setup and managed SCIFs for two government contract proposals. Monitored security logs and implemented Lumension security to control data access. • Performed backups and restored data when required. • Managed 25 windows and SQL servers on two domains. • Upgraded Costpoint database to the latest version without outside assistance saving our government customer $80,000. • Migrated databases and DTS/SSIS packages from SQL 2000 and SQL 2005 to a SQL 2008 platform. • Determined that the McAfee Host Intrusion Detection software newly deployed by the air Force was the reason that SQL Data Transformation Services (DTS's) had stopped working. Informed our government customer who was able to use the information to resolve issues with DTS’s across the base. • Converted complex SQL 2000 DTS’s used to transfer data between our various databases into SQL2005 SSIS packages while migrating to the newer database platform. • Worked on team that developed a web application to track employee slots. This allowing HR to track vacancy durations, reasons for terminations, average wages for budgeting purposes, approval trail for hiring and slot movements. The application also tracks work location and management structure. Show less

      • Modified automated login script to attach to remote server. Script would automatically lookup hash of property’s name and store the hash in password file for lookup. Storing hash allowed login to occur quicker on subsequent connects as it could use the locally stored value instead of the lookup across the network. Logins then took ten seconds instead of one to two minutes • Created a modified version of the above automated login script to change time on all of the Novell servers for daylight savings. Previous solution required manually logging into each server and changing the time. • Optimized web application database to provide data quicker to support staff so they could resolve issues in a timelier manner. • Remotely installed, configured, upgraded, and troubleshot issues on Novell and Windows Servers, Windows 95 PC’s and networking equipment at 400+ Hilton Hotels. • Remotely configured, upgraded, and troubleshot issues with wired and wireless High Speed Internet Access systems at 600+ hotels. Also assisted guests having issues connecting to the internet. Show less
