Wayne MacLaurin
Fay has a deep understanding of how the domain industry works and background to understand why. I've been fortunate enough to work with Fay on two occasions and she's been an outstanding colleague and asset to the organizations. She has strengths in business operations, internet policy and leveraged both of those to help Rightside build its original registry compliance program. Her efforts were a key element of our registry launch and she worked tirelessly with a cross-functional team that successfully navigated ICANN program requirements.

It has been my pleasure to work with Fay on two occasions in the TLD industry. In both instances I was delighted to be her co-worker. I once reported to Fay directly and at another time we were colleagues whose regular work required a great deal of interaction. Fay has an extremely long-standing history working in the Registry, Registrar, and TLD business. This experience manifests itself through her ability to see direct solutions for complicated and nuanced issues either from a policy or an operational perspective. Her ability to translate the outcomes of policy work into extremely specific technical requirements make her end-to-end insight about the operations of the industry extremely valuable. Her industry experience is augmented by a number of other traits that would make her a credit in any organization. Fay is a very structured and careful thinker who leads by example. She has always displayed an outstanding work-ethic; working independently from home and various office locations while delivering an enormous amount of content for both policy guidance and technical requirements. Finally, Fay is highly collaborative at every level, both internally and with external customers. Her willingness to engage at the senior level, with her colleagues and with people in junior positions allows her to find solutions that are consistent from policy, through technology and into daily operations.
