I was a post doctoral research associate at the Virtual Reality Applications Center of Iowa State University when he worked as graduate research assistant in our group. We worked closely within multiple projects for more than 2 years. Most of the projects in our group were related to product design and analysis, including Finite Element Analysis and Computational Fluid Dynamics analysis. In order to integrate the massive data from multidisciplinary software and display the results in different virtual reality systems, our group developed VE_Suite. Gerrick participated the creation of the architecture of VE_Suite, and single-handedly developed a texture based visualization approach which enables all the visualization functions in the system. His work laid the foundation for more than 10 different projects and supported around 20 researchers.
