The study was based on questionnaire, interview and classroom observation data with departmental directors, teachers and students from five universities and with advisory committee members within the Taiwanese Ministry of Education. The data were analyzed both quantitatively by using SPSS and qualitatively. During my PhD I also conducted workshops with MA and PhD students on how to effectively use electronic resources and took workshops on “An Introduction to E-Learning”, “Effective Lecturing” and “Assessing Student Work”.
