We ran a spring vacation camp at an elementary school; I was camp director, responsible for creating a schedule of each day's activities, grouping students and counselors, managing staff to make sure we had full coverage and acting as liaison with the school. During my tenure, I was trained as a peer mediator and became a Bexar County Master Gardener. I was selected by City Year San Antonio leadership to give the valedictory address at our graduation ceremony. Show less
