  While residing in Spain for 5 years, I worked for Overseas Supermarkets who operate the Iceland food brand within Europe. I began my tenure as a sales assistant and was promoted to Team Leader in 2010, a role which earned me extra experience and supervisory responsibilities. While in this position, I was able to improve efficiency and profitability within the grocery and chilled areas which I oversaw and in a short time improved the department my measurable amounts. As a daily role, being a Team Leader required the management of 10-12 staff colleagues, daily planning and stock management of the grocery department and ensuring a constant high standard of availability and presentation were maintained throughout the trading day. I was entrusted as a store key holder and undertook the opening and closing of the premises when working as Duty Manager 2-3 times per week (on a rota basis).
