Worked in various commercial roles at United Biscuits: customer marketing, marketing research and marketing. In my most recent role I headed up the marketing department in NL/BE, responsible for the Verkade (biscuits and chocolate) and Sultana brand. Verkade is a Dutch heritage brand, that needed to gain relevance in today's world. Sultana was more of a product type than a real brand, but with the ability to become an icon in Healthy Snacking. Main accomplishments: - Re-focus on both of these two brands, on the basis of a revised brand portfolio strategy - New media and comms strategy for both brands - Development of a new brand identity/pack designs for both Verkade and Sultana - Development and launch of a range of innovations for both brands, including Sultana YoFruit and Verkade Kids range Show less
