Throughout my career with early-stage technology companies, I have seen and experienced the challenge of converting great visions into commercial success. Many great products fail to get market traction. While every situation is unique, there is a specific mindset and fundamental set of activities that drastically improve the probability of success. For that reason, I co-founded the Evidology Group with Adam Lorant (https://www.linkedin.com/in/adamlorant). Together, we've created an evidence-based methodology to help startups gain traction and build a repeatable sales process.Visit https://www.evidologygroup.com/ for more information or reach out to me directly.

Through LD3, I provide flexible engagement advisory services for technology start-up founders on go-to-market and lead customer acquisition strategies. Past engagements include:Aida Software (acquired by Vision Critical) improves customer service and reduces costs for technology companies with their AI-driven customer support platform. As an Advisor to the Founder we met as-needed to discuss topics ranging from general sales strategy, the structure and content of the pitch presentation, prospecting tactics, pricing strategies, and initial sales staff hiring plans.QuickMobile (acquired by Cvent) specializes in mobile apps for the meeting and events industry. Engaged to execute a strategic partnership turnaround with a multi-billion dollar US-based event technology firm. After rebuilding the relationship, revenue growth rates reversed and grew close to a million dollar annual run rate. Mobile Operandi pioneered a SaaS-based synchronized content service for managing multi-media content (ringtones, wallpaper, photos, etc.) on mobile phones prior to smartphones. Introduced to the founders through a VC firm, I led efforts to re-qualify the prospect pipeline, provided positioning and go-to-market advice, and developed an alternative product vision for Board consideration.Eyeball Networks (reborn as AnyConnect) offers Software Development Kits (SDKs) for service providers, application developers, and device makers for the creation of text, voice, and video over IP services. They had proprietary technology for guaranteed call completion and quality on any network, through any firewall, and to any device. At Eyeball I prospected in multiple verticals to validate market potential, sold a multi-million dollar licensing and professional services contract to Comcast, and helped transition the company from proprietary to standards-based products.
