I executed a variety of tasks each day to drive team production including reviewing reports, setting individual goals, supplying performance statuses, auditing loan submissions, and providing training. Although I assisted with numerous teams at one point, I was eventually designated to one team which would consistently have top processors and would come in first place for funded loans in our department within a year’s time.

I managed 50-80 loans at a time depending on market conditions and inventory. Responsibilities included analyzing loan information, following up with vendors, and procuring documentation in order to fulfill underwriting conditions and complete closings within strict lock deadlines. Within my first year, I received an award for being most improved. I also won a competition amongst my peers for the fastest correct review of a Uniform Residential Loan Application. Peers would often come to me for help on policies and procedures which translated well in my next position.

I was methodical in my analysis of each loan which led me to being selected for multiple projects. I was designated to a pilot project which integrated The Work Number into Empower LOS. I would provide reports on the number of loans the integration could be used, errors experienced while using the program, and tips on how the system could be more efficiently updated. I was also one of four analysts chosen to work closely with our sales team to help streamline purchases due to strict processing deadlines.

It was a supporting role for mortgage processors for which I managed a pipeline of 60-80 various document requests. I appreciated the industry was competitive, fast-paced, and always offered something new to learn. My position required strong organizational skills to manage a large pipeline of tasks while maintaining urgency and thoroughness. I became the top Junior Account Manager based on turnaround time and number of requests processed after my first full month, and I held the title until my last full month when I accepted a new role within the company.
