I was responsible for leading a full-service creative studio that specialized in brand identities, creative and art direction, website design on Squarespace and Shopify, print design including packaging design, digital design, social media design, and more. - Develop brand identities from concept to final using a strategy-driven approach, creating an overarching visual identity design that includes research, positioning, guidelines, and implementation. - Lead creative brainstorming and design sessions with internal teams to develop concepts and ideas for various design projects, including conducting marketplace research, competitive analysis, and high-level ideation for brand strategy presentations. - Design and produce a variety of marketing materials, both print and digital, such as packaging design, printed brand collateral, signage, web and e-commerce design, mobile design, social media design, and newsletter design. - Write on-brand copy and oversee copywriters to develop and identify an on-brand voice and messaging for websites, marketing materials, creative campaigns, social media, and more. - Communicate design vision and concepts internally to collaborators, clients, and stakeholders, and revise designs based on feedback and critiques. - Manage and direct subcontractors and collaborators, providing guidance and feedback on their work. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure innovative and effective methods. - Collaborate with external vendors such as printers, photographers, and videographers to ensure all materials are produced to the highest quality. - Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of all design projects.
