      Computational Materials Science Research with the Tonks Research Group The Tonks Research Group taught me how to use a finite element framework through the MOOSE software to create simulations for material phenomena analysis. I progressed to a point of comprehension where I was able to create tutorials for new users of the software. I was also able to delve deeper into the topic of grain growth in ceramics and metals to understand how it can be modelled as well as contributed to work on comparisons between different modelling methods for more efficient simulation results.
