  As a Lieutenant Commander of the Chilean Navy, my role as a Liaison Officer with the US Navy was crucial in managing and executing the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program and coordinating supply support capabilities to the Chilean Navy. I played a key role in facilitating communication and coordination between the two navies, ensuring that the FMS program was executed smoothly and effectively. The NAVSUP WSS FMS program, which I managed, consisted of six formal types of cases tailored to different forms of support including Initial Spares, Follow-on Supply Support Cases, Cooperative Logistics Supply Support Arrangements, Direct Requisitioning Procedure, Repair, and Omnibus. Through my expertise and leadership, I ensured that the Chilean Navy received the necessary support to enhance their operational capabilities, which in turn strengthened the partnership between our two nations. This included overseeing the procurement, storage, and distribution of all necessary supplies and equipment, as well as managing the transportation and maintenance of vehicles and other assets. I also worked closely with other military and civilian organizations to ensure that all logistics operations were properly coordinated and integrated with broader efforts to restore stability and security in the country.
