We brought in guests of all stripes to talk about the news of the day but also try to have some fun once in a while. We also had all the news, sports, traffic and weather to get you informed on your way home!

  Back in September 2013, I was promoted from reporter to news director at News Talk 770, Country 105 & Q107. My day-to-day duties include running the newsroom, dealing with scheduling and interacting with all of the different departments within the station cluster. I'll also fill-in once in a while as a reporter and as an anchor.

  I cover the "news of the day" at NewsTalk770 (formerly QR77), Country 105 and Q107 in Calgary. I cover everything from crime and court to city hall and school boards as well as sports. I also anchor the news from time to time. This is my second tour of duty with Corus, as I held the same position in Calgary between March 2007 and May 2008.

  We had a staff of four in our Medicine Hat newsroom (CJCY 102.1 The Lounge). I helped the launch the station in May '08 and took care of the day-to-day operations of the newsroom, making decisions on what stories we would follow, as well as holding down anchoring and reporting duties.
